Beauty & fashion photographer Standa Merhout operates between New, Paris and Prague. During his career he had published editorials in ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, InStyle, Esquire, Nylon and Vogue magazines. Recently he has been focusing on beauty, cosmetics and hair campaigns for l'Oreal, Shiseido, Decleor, Carol's daughter and Fillmed brands.

He's been working with major advertising agencies such as: Publicis Paris, Publicis Lisbon, Wunderman Thompson Buenos Aires, Havas NY, Saatchi & Saatchi NY etc..

He was also shooting on the TV commercial sets next to these directors: Tryan George, Adria Patty, Dante Ariola, Theresa Wingert etc..

His clients are: l'Oreal Paris, Givenchy, Shiseido, Make-up Forever, Fendi, Nike, Adidas, Coca-Cola

Standa Merhout is an award-winning Czech photographer. Standa discovered his love of photography in 1997 while pursuing a degree in economics. He left school to become a photo assistant for Hearst publishing house in Prague and for Pier 59 Studios in New York shortly after. In 2000, he signed a contract to be exclusive photographer for Elle and has since taken photos for many magazines and brands all over the world. In the last year, he went from NYC’s Met Gala to shoot singer Rosalía for Givenchy Beauty all the way to a small village in Provence, France to shoot the re-launch of iconic french brand, Le Petit Marseillais.

Whether in the studio or on location, Standa loves to explore and play with light in his photography. This results in Stan’s work capturing an authentic spirit and emotion.
